Poster Design: Good & Bad Energy

Image
Another A3 environmental poster design. People have been saying over and over to replace coal burning with windmill energy (even in Greenpeace's Unfriend Coal Facebook movement) so I decided to make a poster about it. This idea is quite simple and I like the color schemes for each sides, showing the contrast of both situations. Though windmills do have their disadvantage as well, it's still an acceptable alternative to use rather than coal burning factories. Here's the alternate color scheme. At first I imagined it to have a simpler palette, more monochromatic with 1 shade of color each side, and pointilized. It sort of ended up looking like a Geography textbook illustration =_____="

Poster Design: Newspaper Pencils

Another poster design I did for this whole saving the earth thing. That time all I can think of was pencils made out of newspaper (like Treesmart & Smencils, but there are lots of ordinary bootleg brand-less ones). The point is just for people to buy these as much instead of buying regular wooden pencils (though mechanical pencils are better IMO, for writing, not drawing & sketching). So why chop down more trees when you can reuse newspapers, which are initially made from trees? I made two other versions as usual: Stocks used: Newspaper Texture03 by Locololastock Pencils 001 by nocreditstock And this picture from Wikimedia
